The unit has plenty of storage in both the insulated attic and the full basement. We have eastern and southern exposures and great views of the farm, forest and rolling hills. All our homes are built to super energy-efficient standards.
In the spirit of co-housing, we would like to co-own this home with you, taking turns occupying it for six months a year. We have a summer home on the West coast and would want to be in New Hampshire the winter months. This arrangement is what you may have been looking for if you want to spend several months of each year in beautiful New England in a home you own, but also want to spend the winter months of the year elsewhere. We would, also, entertain an offer to buy with the option for us to lease the winter months.
Nubanusit Neighborhood and Farm, “Nubi,” is a new, environmentally respectful, intergenerational community of 29 units located on over 70 acres of forests and pastures. We have a pond, a mile of river front, fields and forest trails. Our farm has horses, cows and chickens. In addition to the community gardens, the neighborhood is starting a Community Supported Agriculture farm this spring.
We enjoy community dinners twice a week and have a variety of teams and clubs that span neighbors’ interests. We live within walking distance of Peterborough, one of the most interesting small towns in America, home of the MacDowell artists’ colony.
